Shoe Re-Spike and Rejuvenation
With every re-spike at the Kew Golf Club, we offer a complimentary clean and leather rejuvenation for shoes. We do this to ensure golfers shoes last as long as possible and reduce the likelihood of any splitting or cracking.
Club Re-gripping
Here at the Kew golf club we complete all re-grips in the shop with a matter of minutes in some cases. All re-grips will be complete on the spot where possible if not, they will be complete in the timeframe indicated by the customer.
Undersize, standard, midsize and jumbo grips in tour velvet will be stocked at all times along with arthritic grips, multi-compound grips and also full cord grips to ensure we meet the needs of every golfer.
Club Repairs
Unfortunately, golf clubs may break and are required to be repaired quickly for your next round of golf. Our PGA trained professionals re-shaft all clubs here in store unless the club requires a custom shaft from a supplier. We endeavour to get all clubs repaired in the customers required timeframe. The cost of a shaft varies with the fitting of the shaft coming at no charge. Please contact the Pro Shop for all quotes on club re-shafting.
Club Lengthen/Shortening
It is imperative that every golfer’s clubs are built specifically for their swing. At the Kew Golf Club, we lengthen and shorten all types of golf clubs from putters to drivers and also graphite or steel shaft. The PGA Professionals at the Kew Golf Club will have it completed at any timeframe you request.
Club Re-Glue
Over time, the glue that bonds a club head to the shaft may come loose. Using tour set shafting epoxy we can in most cases clean and re-glue a club head and have your club back in good working order in just 5 minutes.
Lie and Loft Check and Alterations
The lie and loft of your clubs can greatly impact on the direction and trajectory of your golf shots. At the Kew Golf Club we can check your lie and lofts and alter them to match your specifications to ensure your clubs match your swing and body characteristics perfectly.
Your lie angles can be checked and calibrated via a half a $65 hour fitting with one of our three PGA Professionals on any day of the week, from there we are able to adjust them accordingly.
Over time lie angles can change due to practicing on hard mats at the driving range and constant practice which makes this an underrated service that should be taken advantage of whenever possible.

Short Game Area
Our newly renovated short game range is the perfect place to refine all green side shots . The large bunker gives players the ability to hit to multiple targets and at different heights. The large undulated area also gives players the opportunity to play a vast array of shots that golfers will face out on the challenging Kew layout. Members and guests are encouraged to use their own balls on this area.
Chipping Green
A long narrow green with subtle undulations, this green is designed specifically for chipping. The size and shape of this green allows members to practice chip shots of all types of lengths. It’s the perfect area to use before a game to fine tune your touch before heading out onto the course. Putting is permissible on this green. Chip and run shots are only on this green with players wanting to hit lob shots encouraged to use the larger short game area by the 18th tee.
Putting Green
The largest of the practice greens, the putting area sits right in front of the clubhouse. This green perfectly simulates the putting surfaces on course and is ideal place to spend time before your round. This green is dedicated to putting with no chip shots permitted.
