Dress Standards

The Kew Golf Club strives to be a progressive Golf Club that is welcoming to all and also respectful of golfing traditions. Dress Standards apply to members and guests when visiting the Club.

On-course and Practice Areas:

Golf attire as worn on the major professional golf tours and generally available in golf shops is appropriate attire on the Golf Course and Practice Facilities, noting that for men, shirts should be tucked in. This includes tailored golf shorts. Footwear should provide adequate protection for the golfer, with soles to be of a design that will not damage the Golf Course. Metal spikes are not permitted.

Clubhouse:

Neat, clean, casual dress clothing and footwear is acceptable in the Clubhouse. Denim may be worn. Caps and beanies are not to be worn in the Clubhouse. Thongs are not considered appropriate footwear.

Members are responsible to ensure that guests including family members are aware of these Standards prior to visiting the Club.

Club Management, including the Club Professional and Golf Shop staff are responsible for ensuring that Members and guests are dressed in alignment with these Standards while utilising the Golf Club’s facilities.
