Blue
A short par five with lots of character. A safe teeshot sets up a birdie opportunity. The bigger hitters will then consider a high ball over the gums on the left to fly the green in two. Alternatively, a layup to the front of the green will offer an up-and-down birdie. Or, if you dare, you could shoot a low ball, right-to-left, under the branches and run it onto the green. Otherwise you will need to lay up. In this regard you have several options – all of which are governed by your ability to negotiate the large fairway bunker in front of the green. There are good pitching spaces short of this bunker and right of this bunker. There is also plenty of room long and right which would suit pins placed on the left side of the green.
Red
A drive right of centre is ideal here. Longer hitters, be wary as the fairway bunkers can come into play. Play your second shot to the right side of the fairway, this opens the angle to the green and avoids a hidden bunker over the hill. This green requires a pin point approach as there is a false front and a ridge in the middle of the green.
