Women’s Bowls Bookings
Women’s Bowls are team competitions held by other clubs. The team will consist of 2, 3 or 4 players and will be played, either as an individual or 4BBB Stableford, with the scores added together to give the team score.
All playing members are eligible to register their interest to play in a bowl via the Women’s Bowls booking sheet (see Upcoming Bowls list below).
The date and details of upcoming bowls will be entered on the scheduled date as soon as the Club receives the entry form.
Bowls subsidised by Kew Golf Club
Some of the bowls are partially funded by Kew GC. You can submit your expression of interest for team selection on the Women’s Bowls Booking sheet for as many events as you would like. However, you MUST keep that date free if you submit your name.
There will be a waitlist for each bowl, so access this if the expression of interest sheet is full. If there is a cancellation the first person on the waitlist will be uploaded to the expression of interest sheet.
Teams will be selected from the names submitted 3 to 4 weeks prior to the event, and you will be notified if you have been successful. The Club will pay the entrance fee for the selected team and each player will be required to pay $25 for their lunch. This amount will be charged to your account.
Bowls funded by Players
There are many bowls available for Kew GC members to play in. These are self-funded (not subsidised by Kew GC). The team entrance fee is listed on the brochure which will be uploaded to the relevant Bowl’s booking sheet. Register your interest to play in these bowls on the Women’s Bowls Booking sheet. The first to enter their name is assumed to be responsible for contacting those listed on the booking sheet to arrange a team and submitting the Entry Form and payment to the organising club.
